We are sad to announce our difficult decision to postpone this year’s UnionWare Summit, originally scheduled to take place Oct 6-7, 2020, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Although still many months away, we feel it makes sense to postpone it and give the situation we are in a chance to settle down, and we can return to normal.
In the meantime, life continues, and the value that Unions bring to their members has never been more critical. Summit has always been an excellent opportunity for our clients to get together, not just with us, but also with each other, sharing ideas and discussing what’s important in the Union movement.
We don’t want to miss out on this. These opportunities to talk and share are important, in some ways, now more than ever. This is why we are happy to announce that we are going to hold the first-ever Virtual UnionWare Summit.
Rather than meeting over several days, we plan to run free online events throughout this year to give everyone a chance to get together to share and learn from one another. We are in the initial planning phases, but be on the lookout for more details as we start putting together a schedule.
