We’ve got great news – Melissa Goldfarb has joined Team Frontier as a Business Analyst!
Melissa brings diverse experience with her into this new role. Long before her interest in the business side, she worked as a paramedic for three years and even earned her real estate license. Melissa also came close to graduating with a nursing degree before looking after a family became her main focus.
Melissa’s first IT-related experience came from her time at Ceridian, where she started with data entry but quickly moved into more client-based work. Her knowledge of French was useful here, as she wrote documentation in both of Canada’s official languages. After a while, Melissa moved to Birchwood Automotive Group, where she worked as an Implementation Specialist. While there, she worked with clients (including dealerships) to determine their requirements as the team built an application for digitizing sales called Simplify. Unfortunately, her division, along with the product they were designing, was purchased by their partner in the project (Implementation Alliance, now iA-SAL) then shut down. This event led her to find us, for which we couldn’t be happier.
Melissa is far from being all work – her three children take up a lot of her personal time. If that doesn’t sound like enough, she also fosters dogs whenever possible, sometimes for many months. Melissa reads to relax and enjoys spending time at the cabin in the summer months. She’s also an accomplished with a camera, and for several years has run a popular photography business. Many of her clients trust her to capture their happiest moments at weddings on most weekends over the summer.
Melissa will play a key role on Team Frontier as they take on more clients and design our clients’ next exciting solutions. Welcome, Melissa!
