Last September, the Discovery team journeyed to Vancouver, BC to visit with the Association of Administrative and Professional Staff of The University of British Columbia. They were considering an upgrade to newer technology to help them provide even better service to their members, and it was our job to show them how UnionWare could help.

After a productive week meeting with their friendly and helpful team, we prepared and presented our proposal. It predicted many improvements, including mobile access to more centralized data supported by processing efficiencies and automation.

We are delighted to announce that AAPS has decided to join the UnionWare family. In addition to the core product (Membership and Finance), their solution will feature the Cases module, our ULink interface, and the Email Receiver plug-in.

Team Momentum is excited to be working on the AAPS implementation and hopes to return to the West Coast for go-live training in the coming months.

The Association of Administrative and Professional Staff of The University of British Columbia is a professional association that represents over 4,000 members of the Management and Professional Staff group at UBC.

In addition to collective bargaining and dispute resolution, AAPS supports members in resolving workplace issues and strives to improve their work experience at UBC. aaps.ubc.ca
