MODULE Details

Membership

This is the hub of UnionWare. All other modules integrate directly with the Membership module, and create the framework that represents your union. Individual members are then added and tracked within this framework.

Organizing

Provide your organizers and field staff with the tools they need to be more effective. Our web based Organizing Module provides incredible flexibility in configuring turf, setting up and managing internal and external campaigns, tracking member assessments, activities, social networks, and relationships between individuals.  And of course, this module is tightly integrated with all other UnionWare modules so your entire organization works off the same page.

Cases

Member issues come in many varieties and the Cases Module handles them all. Grievances, arbitrations, complaints, disability and compensation claims require many of the same workflow and research capabilities. Through the Cases Module you can track steps, actions, documents, expenses and awards. Workflow is automated based on configurable templates. Each case can be linked to one or more participants (e.g. members, case managers, supervisors, legal). Because of UnionWare's modular integration, case information is also available in other areas of your solution (e.g. Member Portal, Organizing).

Finances

Automatically process electronic dues files provided by your employers. Selectively, and automatically, update your membership database with the information in these files through configurable templates. Powerful tools speed manual transaction entry when electronic files are not provided.

Events

Make organizing events simple with our integrated set of event management tools. Track registration, attendance, sessions and workshops, supporting documents, accommodation, and travel.

Contracts

Stay on top of contract deadlines, negotiation procedures and schedules, and keep negotiation notes and documents for future reference. Keep track of classification rate tables, contract provisions, and Collective Agreement articles.

Call Management

Put the information and tools in the hands of your front line staff so they can answer, pre-qualify, and route questions and concerns from your members. This suite of tools tracks all communications with your members with the resulting tasks routed to the appropriate department or individual.

Member Portal

Your members have come to expect online relationships with many of the organizations they deal with, and their union is no exception.  The UnionWare Member Portal is a secure web site designed for your members providing them with a more personalized and private set of information than they would otherwise get from your public web site. 

Employer Portal

Privacy concerns and management of dues files are serious issues. The UnionWare Employer Portal allows employers to transfer these files directly into UnionWare through a secured web portal.  The result - confidence that private member information remains private, and files are stored where they can be easily retrieved - within UnionWare.
