Cases
Member issues come in many varieties and the Cases Module handles them all. Grievances, arbitrations, complaints, disability and compensation claims require many of the same workflow and research capabilities. Through the Cases Module you can track steps, actions, documents, expenses and awards. Workflow is automated based on configurable templates. Each case can be linked to one or more participants (e.g. members, case managers, supervisors, legal). Because of UnionWare's modular integration, case information is also available in other areas of your solution (e.g. Member Portal, Organizing).

- Multiple case types are supported, each with their own security, templates, and corresponding statuses and categories.
- Track the life-cycle of a case using steps, actions, reminders, and tasks.
- Templates allow specialized workflow to be set up in advance and applied to each case, including communications (e.g. merged letters, e-mails) to participants.
- Track all the key players and their roles in the case, including members, legal counsel, arbitrators, witnesses, staff reps.

- Track as many notes as you wish to capture the communications and strategies for the case. Privacy settings ensure security when necessary.
- Documents of any type can be uploaded (or linked) to the case. Integration is possible with other document management systems.
- Use keywords, case linking, and a variety of other categorization tools to make researching easy.
- Expenses and awards can also be tracked.
